Hello! I am María de la Moneda Moreno and where you are right now is Pipalab, a space for creativity where I show my projects. Print Design and Illustration are my great passion. It reflects my taste for nature, flora and fauna, their shapes and colors.
Desde hace años he trabajado para aunar mi gusto por la ilustración y mis estudios en Bellas Artes y Diseño Gráfico, que desarrollé en Granada y Finlandia donde pude disfrutar un año de mi beca ERASMUS.
El germen de mi inquietud por el mundo del Pattern Design fue mi estancia en Finlandia, donde descubrí Marimekko. Recuerdo como en ese paisaje nocturno, en medio de la la nieve los estores en las casas iluminadas daban un toque alegre, lleno de energía y color.
For years I have worked to combine my taste for illustration and my studies in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, which I developed in Granada and Finland where I was able to enjoy a year of my ERASMUS scholarship.
The germ of my interest in the Pattern Design world was Finland, where I discovered Marimekko. I remember how in that night landscape, in the middle of the snow, the blinds in the illuminated houses gave a cheerful touch, full of energy and color.
Años más tarde, en Alcalá la Real (Jaén), retomé el diseño de textiles y lo auné con mis conocimientos en serigrafía artística pudiendo desarrollar productos para moda y hogar. Plasmando mis estampados en tejidos de algodón orgánico en lionesa en mi estudio. Esta experiencia me ha permitido conocer el proceso de desarrollo de producto de principio a fin.
Years later, in Alcalá la Real (Jaén), I returned to textile design and combined it with my knowledge of artistic screen printing, being able to develop products for fashion and home. I printed my prints on organic cotton fabrics in my studio in Lyon. This experience has allowed me to learn the product development process from start to finish.
Actualmente vivo en Madrid, donde me mudé para realizar el Máster en Diseño Textil y de Superficies en IED (Instituto Europeo del Diseño), disciplina que me encanta porque posee el poder de hacer más especial nuestro día a día y que es el broche perfecto a todo mi trabajo en diferentes proyectos.
Trabajo como diseñadora gráfica textil desarrollando colecciones de baño y homewear para una empresa que distribuye al por mayor. Realizo estampados a mano y en digital, estoy en contacto con las diferentes fábricas para tener un buen resultado en el producto y viaje a las principales ferias en Paris y China donde compro realizo compras para completar la colección.
I currently live in Madrid, where I moved to study the Master in Textile and Surface Design at IED (European Institute of Design), a discipline that I love because it has the power to make our daily lives more special and is the perfect finishing touch to all my work on different projects.
I work as a textile graphic designer developing swimwear and homewear collections for a wholesale company. I do hand and digital prints, I am in contact with different factories to get a good result in the product and I travel to the main fairs in Paris and China where I make purchases to complete the collection.current
Como puedes ver, soy una diseñadora versátil y con experiencia en el campo, me encanta trabajar desarrollando proyectos en equipo.
